Advertising policy

Reviewed 1 October 2026. Ijanos may display carefully screened advertising to support publishing costs. Advertising is not editorial advice and does not create a relationship with a product provider. We do not publish claims that promise cures, guaranteed performance or limited-time pressure.

1. Separation

Commercial placements are visually distinct from articles. Advertisers cannot rewrite independent editorial conclusions. A sponsorship does not change source standards. Readers may ask the desk about labelling.

2. Prohibited claims

We reject unsupported medical promises, deceptive before-and-after presentations, fear-based targeting and claims aimed at vulnerable people. Products must follow applicable Indonesian requirements. We may remove a placement while an issue is reviewed. No payment guarantees editorial coverage.

3. Health products

Health-related advertising receives additional scrutiny. It must not imply that a supplement replaces diagnosis or treatment. We do not ask readers to stop prescribed care. Claims must be specific, supportable and appropriately qualified.

4. Audience

The audience includes adults over 35 interested in training. We do not knowingly target children. Advertising should not exploit anxiety about ageing, appearance or health. Context and dignity come before click performance.

5. Data

Advertising partners may receive limited technical data only where lawful and consented. Ijanos does not sell contact form submissions. Cookie choices control optional analytics. Details appear in privacy and cookies policies.

6. Review

The editorial desk can request substantiation before accepting a placement. Reviews consider wording, destination, privacy and user experience. We can pause a campaign without advance notice for safety. Advertisers are informed of the reason where practical.

7. Links

External destinations have their own policies and terms. A paid placement is not a guarantee of their service. Readers should investigate products independently. Report misleading destinations to Ijanos.

8. Complaints

Send the placement, date and concern to Jalan Merdeka Timur No. 11, Gambir, Central Jakarta 10110, Indonesia, or +62 818 2349 7561. We aim to acknowledge within 30 days. Do not include medical records. Material concerns receive editorial review.

9. Changes

This policy was reviewed 1 October 2026. New formats or partners may require an updated version. Changes will be dated at the top. The current wording applies to active placements.

10. Independence

Our central commitment is reader trust. Commercial support cannot purchase a favourable scientific conclusion. Corrections remain possible after publication. We would rather decline an unsuitable campaign than weaken the publication’s boundaries.

Operational standards

Advertising is assessed before publication and may be reviewed again when its destination, wording, audience settings or legal status changes. Reviewers consider whether a reasonable reader could distinguish the placement from independent editorial content. Labels should remain visible on phones, tablets and desktop layouts.

Claims are expected to be supported by material appropriate to the claim and the market in which it appears. A qualification must be close enough to the statement to be understood, not hidden in a distant page or unreadable design. We do not accept language that pressures a person to act because of fear, embarrassment or an asserted personal deficiency.

Advertising partners may use a hosting, measurement or delivery provider. Such providers should receive only the technical information necessary for the placement and only where the visitor’s choice and applicable law permit it. Contact form submissions are not offered as an advertising audience, and Ijanos does not sell those submissions.

A complaint should identify the page, approximate time, advertisement wording and concern. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within seven days and review ordinary wording or destination issues within 30 days. A placement may be paused during review without implying a final finding, and the outcome may include correction, removal or no change with an explanation.

Advertising records may be kept for up to 24 months for billing, compliance and accountability, while rejected creative is normally removed from active systems within 90 days unless needed for a dispute. This policy was reviewed on 1 October 2026. Questions can be sent to Jalan Merdeka Timur No. 11, Gambir, Central Jakarta 10110, Indonesia, or +62 818 2349 7561.

Advertising review covers wording, destination, audience settings, disclosures, privacy implications and the experience on mobile and desktop. A claim should be supported by material appropriate to its wording and market, with qualifications placed close enough to be understood. We do not accept pressure based on fear, shame, ageing or an asserted personal deficiency. A placement may be paused while a concern is reviewed.

Health-related advertising receives additional scrutiny and must not suggest that a commercial item replaces professional assessment or prescribed care. We do not accept content involving restricted goods, deceptive transformations or unsupported personal outcomes. Any permitted general wellness wording must remain specific, restrained and consistent with applicable Indonesian requirements. Ijanos may request substantiation before publication.

Partners may use hosting, delivery or measurement providers, but they should receive only the technical information needed for the placement and only where consent and law permit it. Contact form submissions are not sold or offered as an advertising audience. Optional analytics are controlled through the cookie choice. Records connected with a placement may be retained for up to 24 months for compliance and accountability, while rejected material is normally removed from active systems within 90 days unless needed for a dispute.
