Terms of use
These terms govern access to Ijanos, an English-language editorial publication based in Central Jakarta. By browsing the site, you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully. Ijanos provides general information about sports physiology and training, not professional medical advice. If you do not accept these terms, please stop using the site.
1. Service scope
Ijanos publishes articles, reference pages and contact routes. Content may be changed, corrected or removed as editorial needs develop. Pages are written for general readers and do not create a coach-client, doctor-patient or employment relationship. Access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance.
2. Health boundaries
Training information cannot assess an individual body, injury, medication or diagnosis. Stop exercise for concerning symptoms and seek qualified medical care. You remain responsible for decisions made after reading an article. No outcome is guaranteed or promised.
3. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe private systems, impersonate another person or submit unlawful material. Do not use automated tools in a way that harms availability. Contact forms must contain a valid route for a response. We may restrict access where abuse threatens readers or the service.
4. Intellectual property
Text, layout, branding and original editorial selection belong to Ijanos or its licensors. You may read and share a link for personal, non-commercial discussion. Reproduction of substantial text requires written permission. Third-party marks remain with their owners.
5. User messages
You retain responsibility for the material you send. You confirm that it does not infringe another person’s rights or reveal unnecessary sensitive information. You grant Ijanos permission to use a de-identified suggestion to improve editorial planning. We may delete messages that are abusive, unsafe or unrelated.
6. External links
Links may lead to independent sites with different terms and privacy practices. Ijanos does not control their content, availability or security. A link is provided for reader usefulness and is not an endorsement of every statement. Review the external provider’s information before relying on it.
7. Advertising
Commercial messages, where present, are separated from editorial conclusions. Advertisers cannot require a medical promise or suppress a correction. Sponsored material will be identified in a clear manner. Our advertising policy explains further boundaries.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided for information on an as-available basis. We work to keep articles accurate and current, but research, links and circumstances change. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or fitness for a particular personal result. Readers should verify important decisions with appropriate professionals.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ijanos is not responsible for loss arising from reliance on general editorial information, external links or service interruption. Nothing here excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You should maintain appropriate insurance and professional support for your activities. This section is read with applicable Indonesian consumer protections.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled under the privacy policy. Contact messages should avoid health records and identity documents. Cookie preferences can be changed by removing the relevant browser data. Questions about personal information can be sent to Ijanos in Central Jakarta.
11. Changes
These terms were reviewed on 1 October 2026. Future changes take effect when posted with a new date. Continued browsing after an update indicates acceptance of the updated wording. Material changes will be described in the revision record.
12. Governing context
These terms are intended to operate consistently with the laws applicable in Indonesia. The parties should first attempt to resolve a concern through the Ijanos contact route. A formal complaint should describe the issue and desired remedy. Nothing prevents a person from using rights available under mandatory law.
Practical interpretation
These terms are intended to explain ordinary use in plain language, not to create obligations beyond applicable law. Reading an article, opening a link or sending a question does not create a professional engagement, treatment relationship, coaching contract or promise of a particular outcome. Visitors remain free to stop using the site at any time.
Content may be unavailable for maintenance, security review, correction or changes to hosting arrangements. We aim to restore ordinary access promptly, but the publication is not responsible for outages caused by networks, devices, external services or events outside reasonable control. A saved copy may become outdated when an article is revised.
Messages should be limited to relevant editorial questions and must not contain another person’s private information without permission. We may retain a message for up to 12 months after the last exchange for response history, then delete or anonymise it unless a longer period is needed for a legal dispute or security investigation. A request to remove a message can be sent to the address or phone number published by Ijanos.
Where external links or embedded services are used, their own terms, privacy notices and technical conditions apply. Ijanos does not control a third party’s availability, data handling or editorial position. A reference is provided for context and should not be read as an endorsement or as evidence that a product is suitable for a particular person.
We may update these terms when the site structure, legal environment or publishing practice changes. The date at the top identifies the current version, and material revisions will be described in a short change note where practical. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to be read as far as the law permits.
These terms apply to ordinary browsing, linking, reading, printing for personal reference and sending a message through an Ijanos contact route. They do not transfer ownership of the site or create a licence to republish a substantial article as a competing publication. A visitor remains responsible for checking that local use of copied material is lawful. External links are governed by the destination’s own terms.
Site availability can be affected by hosting maintenance, network interruptions, browser settings, security measures or changes to third-party services. A page may be corrected or withdrawn when a source, link, image or explanation needs review. We aim to keep material understandable, but publication dates matter and a cached copy may not contain a later correction. No statement on the site should be treated as a personal assessment.
Messages should contain only information needed for a response and should not include passwords, identity documents, private medical records or another person’s confidential details. We normally retain correspondence for 12 months after the last meaningful exchange, then delete or anonymise it unless a legal or security reason requires preservation. Access may be restricted where conduct threatens readers, infrastructure or the integrity of the publication. Questions about a restriction can be sent to the published address or phone number.
We may update these terms when the site structure, legal requirements or publishing practice changes. The current date identifies the applicable version, while earlier versions may be kept internally as a change record. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue as far as applicable law allows. This page was reviewed on 1 October 2026.
